A note to the CMQ community: CMQ 2.0 is coming January 1st. We will be rapidly evolving between now and then. Thank you for your continued support.
Welcome to CMQ Investing.
My name is Chris Franco, and I founded CMQ Investing to help investors like you and me think clearly about investing.
In short, what I do here is this: I figure out what really works in investing, why it works, and then I figure out how to make it work for us.Â
I am an independent thinker, and this is an independent project. I donât have any bias for one investing strategy over anotherâall I care about is the results. That means my only incentive is to uncover the best, most practical lessons for individual investors like you and me, and turn them into actionable guidelines that will help us grow our net worth.Â
How do I go about this? Every day, I collect the wisdom of legendary investors, classic investing books, and modern academic research to uncover time-tested truths: the biggest mistakes to avoid at every step of the investing process, the cognitive biases that prevent us from maximizing our long-term performance, the lessons from stock market history with the biggest implications for investors today, and much more.Â
And then I share it with you. Subscribers to CMQ Investing receive everything from short quotes and tips and tricks to detailed book notes and multidisciplinary breakdowns of essential investing conceptsâas well as access to the original checklists and visual tools that I consult before I make any decision about investing. All of this content is inspired by the best investing lessons Iâve learned from legendary investors like Charlie Munger, Warren Buffett, John Bogle, and many more.Â
This is how some of my readers describe the content that arrives in their inbox:
âNon-biased education of investing truthsâ
âWisdom from some of the best investing minds in history.â
âRaw, wise & straight to the point.â
Become a CMQ Investor and youâll join a community of investors preparing our minds to make smart, clear-headed financial decisions by learning the best of whatâs already been figured out about investing. I hope youâll join us.
Who is Chris Franco?
Chris Franco is an entrepreneur from New York City.Â
At 28, he founded Woodridge Growth, a marketing agency in New York City that helps billion-dollar startups and Fortune 100 companies accelerate their growth through Facebook and Instagram advertising. Since founding the company in 2016, Franco has established Woodridge Growthâs reputation as the best Facebook and Instagram ads agency in New York City.
Franco is well-known in the industry for his obsession with learning and his multidisciplinary knowledge in a diverse set of fields, ranging from textbook marketing to machine learning, data analysis, and academic psychology. His skills remain highly sought out thanks to his ability to apply knowledge quickly, practically, and at-scale, often being deployed behind-the-scenes by clients as their marketing teamâs âsecret weapon.â Franco introduced the concept of growth hacking at the American Marketing Associationâs Annual Conference and is a regular speaker at universities and industry events.Â
In April of 2020, Franco created the Instagram page @charliemungerquotes as part of his goal to become a better investor by internalizing the wisdom of one of the greatest investors of all time. The page has since introduced Charlieâs wisdom to thousands of new investors, become one of the biggest Charlie Munger fan communities on the internet, and provided the inspiration for the CMQ Investing newsletter and podcast.
